The Toy Museum in Karpacz was established in 1995 - it was created based on an impressive collection of toys gathered by Henryk Tomaszewski, a dancer, director, choreographer, and founder of the Wroclaw Pantomime Theatre. The artist, who lived in Karpacz from 1984 until his death in 2001, donated his collection to the city.

Visitors can find over 2,000 toys from different eras (the museum has exhibits even from the 18th century) and corners of the world, including porcelain dolls, theaters, toys from Japan, Australia, Mexico, Russia, and Germany, as well as miniature furniture and dollhouses. Exhibits are carefully arranged in hand-painted showcases. The youngest can take a journey through the history of toys, while adults can briefly return to the carefree days of childhood.
